The popular Brisbane Comedy Festival 2020 is continuing its run before it will draw to a close at the end of the month. The festival which launched on 21st February is being hosted at several key venues in the cityand is set to conclude on 22nd March. The event’s opening gala took place at the Brisbane City Hall close to Oaks Woolloongabba and featured a laugh out loud, two-hour show. Other festival venues that are also within easy reach for those staying at a Woolloongabba hotel include the Brisbane Powerhouse, Newstead Brewing Co., The Tivoli and The Fortitude Music Hall.
Over 85 local and international comedians and comedic acts are involved in the Brisbane Comedy Festival 2020 with everything from sketch andstand-upcomedy toimprov on offer. As part of the event, there’s also a special all-ages programme for families as well as a Class Clowns competition for Australianstudents.
