Celebrating 50 Years of Tourism in the Maldives with the TTIM Travel Summit 2022

On the 25th of August 2022, the Maldives celebrated 50 years of tourism in the enchanting archipelago. The special milestone was celebrated in ceremonial style by way of a professional gathering – TTM Travel Summit 2022. This event’s participation was on invitation only whereas guests were able to find their holiday abode in hotels like Adaaran Select Meedhupparu and other luxury Maldives resorts. Honeymoon travellers too may have caught a glimpse of professionals walking into the prestigious event that was held at the CROSSROADS Maldives on the 25th of August 2022.

The event was held with the aim to gather industry experts, thought leaders and senior decision-makers who are heavily involved in the Maldivian tourism sector to host panel discussions on the evolution of the country’s tourism sector within the past 5 decades. The event was also streamed live on the Travel Trade Maldives’s social media platforms.
