Eagerly anticipated amongst music lovers in Indonesia, the annual Cherrypop Festival was once again held in Yogyakarta on the island of Java. This lively weekend event took place from 19th to 20th August 2023 at Asram Edupark within easy reach of properties like Kimaya Sudirman Yogyakarta by Harris; for those staying at such a city centre-based 4 star hotel, Yogyakarta festivals as well as attractions can be experienced throughout the year.
This alternative music festival in Indonesia featured everything from punk, rock, and metal to hip-hop, rap and more. Amongst the highlights was the star-studded line-up with some of the best names in the local music industry who performed live to their fans, while winning new followers as well. A few of the names that took to the stage at Cherrypop Festival 2023 included For Revenge, Dom 65, Southern Beach Terror, Bangkutaman, KROWBAR, Lair, Impromptu, Monkey to Millionaire and The Adams.
