Chion-in Temple Special Night Viewing – Lights, lamps, and lanterns

Chion-in Temple is a religious attraction that not only Buddhists visit, but many travellers from all over the world visit the temple to explore spiritual bliss. From 26th March to 4th April the special night viewing event was held and many people, including the tourists, took part in it.

This was the spring event, and the next event will be held in November celebrating Autumn. If you have already made plans to visit Chion-in Temple during your stay at any Kyoto serviced apartment the likes of Citadines Karasuma-Gojo Kyoto, make sure you join this colourful and glamourous event. The whole area gets lit with lights and lanterns, and the participants also get the chance to know about Buddhism and its vision from the monks.
