Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts has announced a series of initiatives focused on strengthening Colombo’s position as a regional tourism and entertainment centre. These initiatives are intended to attract larger numbers of tourists to the city and elevate its global appeal.
Cinnamon Box Office (CBO), an AI-powered integrated ticketing platform, was recently launched by the hospitality brand to assist travellers in discovering and planning experiences across the island. Having generated over 400 million in revenue and facilitated more than 10,000 ticket sales, the platform had already been experiencing considerable momentum.
Upcoming events being featured include the international Michael Jackson tribute show “This is Michael – Relive The Legend”, which will be hosted at City of Dreams Sri Lanka. Cinnamon Life is also set to host a showcase of Colombo’s shipwreck diving sites, “Jewels Beneath the Waves”, reinforcing the appeal of Sri Lanka hotels offering immersive entertainment, cultural and lifestyle experiences.
