Several Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts properties in the Maldives have been recognised among the top 10% of worldwide hotels in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2026. The resorts mentioned are Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives, Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives and Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon.
The annual awards highlight hospitality properties that deliver high-rated guest experiences, with the winners determined by traveller feedback over a 12-month data collection period.
The achievement recognises the variety of experiences available across Cinnamon’s Maldivian resorts, from surfing and family holidays at Cinnamon Dhonveli to contemporary island escapes at Cinnamon Velifushi and diving and vibrant reef experiences at Ellaidhoo. Guests can also enjoy marine encounters, including Maldives dolphin watching excursions along the destination’s turquoise waters.
The recognition strengthens Cinnamon’s position in the Maldives as it prepares for the upcoming season with exclusive offers for travellers from around the world.
