COMO is a luxury hotel group that firmly believes in supporting native educational efforts in language and literacy towards creating opportunities to learn from different cultures and contributing towards their education systems. Como Shambala in Bali conducts weekly English classes for 115 local kindergarten students as part of the education programs offered by the group. The weekly classes held at COMO Shambala provides an opportunity for these children to learn English where they enjoy a hands-on curriculum developed and taught by the COMO staff themselves.
The curriculum also includes gardening, hygiene and storytelling which in turn help the children to develop an overall understanding and gain significant knowledge on key areas in their vital growing years towards adulthood. Through this program, the hotel has amply demonstrated its commitment towards corporate social responsibility to the neighbours in the vicinity around their estate.
