Temasek has announced the launch of the first phase of a short-stay facility dedicated to supporting the landscape of safe business travel in Singapore. This pilot purpose-built accommodation is designed to enable safe exchanges between Singapore residents and international business clients.
As the first-ever facility that was appointed under the Connect@Changi initiative, it strives to assist the urgency that is accompanied by the reopening of the nation’s borders to continue its economic growth. This is in line with ensuring the safety of the local community from the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. This facility will include 150 premium guest rooms along with 40 meeting rooms that will have the capacity to accommodate a range of meeting requirements. Once the facility is fully completed later this year, it will have the capacity to include around 1,300 guests at any given time.
