Low-cost airline Air Asia recently announced that it would be increasing flights between the Thai seaside resort of Hua Hin and the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. Initially, flights connecting these two destinations operated only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. However, from 12th February this year, return flights commenced seven days per week and this should help to increase tourism as well.
For those travelling to Hua Hin, hotels in the region the likes of Anantara Hua Hin Resort provide an ideal base from which to experience this charming coastal locale. First launched by Air Asia in May 2018, flights between Kuala Lumpur and Hua Hin are serviced by the Airbus 320; it can seat 180 passengers and is amongst Air Asia’s growing fleet of Airbus aircraft.
