Delta Airlines declared launching of new international flights for the upcoming 2018 year. Deployed in a move to facilitate travelling to Europe from the West Coast, the flights will be operated seasonally throughout the year. The airline also declared the addition of new routes to Portuguese destinations from 24th May through 3rd September 2018. These flights are expected to indulge those vacationing in Portugal be it in a hotel in Sintra or Lisbon, the likes of Tivoli Sintra Hotel.
The travellers will be able to fly directly from JFK Airport in New York to Azores and from Atlanta to Lisbon during the summer period. The airline has also scheduled to commence flights to Paris and Amsterdam from LAX. Delta also stated that the introduction of year-round flight operations from JFK Airport to Lagos, Nigeria will be initiated.
