According to a senior official from Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, a luxury Oman resort, the demand for an exclusive tourist destination in spite of whatever economic shortfalls faced by the country is rapidly on the rise in Oman. Despite how the economy affects tourism industry there will always be tourists who seek a unique experience at their favourite resort in their preferred country and in this case Oman. There is great potential for Oman with tremendous opportunities to attract both GCC and international markets when it comes to inbound tourism. Many additions and upgrades as part of Oman’s development plan of its infrastructure to have improved airport facilities and a new convention centre are driving towards boosting the tourism industry in the country.
