The significance of highlighting the traditional cuisine of countries has been identified as the developing trend in the Tourism Sector and the trend has recently been transferred to Vietnam too, especially with the key destinations as Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Quy Nhon in Vietnam. Popular travel sites the likes of Quy Nhon Coastal Escape contribute by taking their visitors on culinary journeys by providing some insightful insights on different restaurants in the area. Some of these restaurants also conduct cooking classes for their guests, without being limited to just providing delicious food for them during their stays.
World Tourism Organization also, through its reports, suggests that culinary tourism is now a strategic factor for marketing a destination and that an average traveler spends about one-third of his vacation and budget on exploring diverse cuisines, as a habit. Experts recommend that, Vietnam can also be greatly benefited by this new concept, in promoting the country to the world, but that this should be done carefully, having the food hygiene factor in mind at all times.
