China is currently on its way to building a mammoth 59 theme parks by 2020 in collaboration with the giant international pioneers such as Disney, Universal and Six Flags along with some of the up and coming regional players running closely behind. Disney, undoubtedly the key player and the pioneer in Theme Park industry has invested USD 4.4 billion in building the Shanghai Disney resort, which is expected to open in late 2015 or early 2016. The main attraction and highlight of the theme park would be the Magical Kingdom style it would portray for young and old alike and would also open two hotels and a downtown Disney shopping centre as well.
The entry of this theme park in Shanghai would open doors to mass tourist and local visitors to spend their holidays while visiting the theme park in the region. A splendid choice of stay out of many Yunnan hotel promotions in the area would be at Anantara Xishuangbanna Resort & Spa, one of the most elegantly styled accommodations nestled along the banks of the Luosuo River.
