The busiest airport in the world for international travel, the Dubai International Airport has reported a growth in passengers which was a significant increase when compared to last year. This was highlighted on the Associated Press news website on 12th May 2022; it revealed that during the first three months of the year, the airport had more than 13.6 million passengers which was more than double the figure during this period in 2021. It was an encouraging sign that this global aviation hub is getting back on track to pre-pandemic levels with a revival in travel and tourism.
