Dubai has used a new marketing approach to promote the destination to potential visitors and travellers. Now it is not all about the luxuries that Dubai offers, but it is also about the beautiful landscapes and the rich culture and heritage of the Emirate. To do this Dubai signed up with Hollywood actresses Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Zoe Saldana.
The 3 actresses starred in a short 8-minute film that featured the 3 Hollywood stars as themselves explores the various aspects of Dubai. The film also focused on their close relationship as they experienced all that Dubai has to offer. The filming crew consisted of over 30 nationalities who also gave their comments on their experience in Dubai. A Palm Jumeirah hotel, for instance, the well-known Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort said to offer great experiences for family and couples. According to one of the actresses, the streets of Old Dubai is said to beautifully display the Arabian culture and is a contrast to Dubai’s urban façade.
