Dubai Surpasses Pre-pandemic International Visitation Levels – Success of the first half of 2023

Dubai has achieved a remarkable milestone in its tourism sector, reporting a record-breaking performance in the first half of the year (H1). This achievement not only underscores the city’s remarkable resilience but also solidifies its position as the fastest-recovering global destination.

The outstanding H1 performance can be attributed to a collaborative effort involving various stakeholders, partners, and the visionary leadership of Dubai. Dubai’s success can be attributed to its diverse offerings, catering to travellers with varying budgets and preferences. Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) orchestrated a comprehensive marketing strategy, highlighting the city’s diverse attractions, ranging from heritage and entertainment to gastronomy, outdoor adventures, family-oriented experiences, festivals, shopping, sports, cruise tourism, yachting, and more. This outstanding performance reaffirms Dubai’s enduring appeal as a top global tourism destination with the added advantage of resorts like Anantara World Islands Dubai, a well-known property at The World Island, Dubai hotel offers further bring in more tourists.
