A popular hangout lounge for journalists and rich celebrities, Avani has now transformed the mansion into something truly amazing! While keeping all the modern amenities in check, this is still one of the colonial hotels in Siem Reap Cambodia. The original building was constructed in 1971 and owned by a French governor. The mansion has been renovated and maintained throughout the years, however, elements from the past are still highlighted here.
The hotel was built with the concept of sustainability in mind and the materials for construction and interiors have been used accordingly. Even the linen in the rooms has been handwoven. When it comes to extra facilities, FCC Angkor Managed by Avani Hotels & Resorts has a new bar, Scribe, built with wood, copper and sandstone and surrounded by trees. What’s more. there are 2 saltwater pools as well within the property. Of course, the location too is convenient when it comes to reaching attractions with ease.
