First Cruise from Mumbai to Maldives – Cruise It Up!

The Costa neoClassica, a cruise liner which was initially built in 1991 and is capable of carrying up to 1,700 passengers, embarked on the first ever cruise to be operated between Mumbai, India and the Maldives. The cruises ran from the 16th of December, 2016 until the 18th of March, 2017. The route included stops such as Kochi and Mangaluru on the outbound journey from India, and Goa and Colombo on the return journey. Guests aboard the liner had access to facilities such as a casino, ballroom, library, theatre, gym, wellness centre, discotheque, library, swimming pools and Jacuzzis.

The Maldives is known for its abundance of sunny seaside resorts such as Kandolhu Island Maldives and many others. Previously, the traditional method to get to your Maldives hotel involved catching a flight to Male International Aiport. However, with this new addition to the scene, holiday-goers can consider setting sail aboard the Costa neoClassica in order to reach the Maldives, and enjoy a luxurious seven-night cruise while they are at it!
