FlyNamibia: Connects Windhoek and Victoria Falls with New Direct Route

Effective April 4, 2024, FlyNamibia has launched a new direct flight route connecting Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city, with the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. This strategic route aims to bolster regional connectivity within Southern Africa, facilitating easier travel and exploration of the continent’s natural wonders. Travelers are encouraged to book their tickets and embark on this exciting adventure.

Zimbabwean authorities view FlyNamibia’s decision as a positive outcome of the nation’s “Open Skies Policy,” demonstrating increased airline interest in serving the country. The aviation industry plays a crucial role in promoting efficient business operations, ensuring traveller safety, and enabling seamless cargo movement. This development aligns with Zimbabwe’s vision of achieving upper-middle-income status by 2030, supporting the “Zimbabwe is Open for Business” initiative and the African Union’s Agenda 2063 for a unified African air transport market (SAATM). The best hotels in Windhoek the likes of Avani Windhoek Hotel & Casino also play a major role in these efforts, sustaining the tourism industry and elevating it to greater heights.
