Hong Kong International Travel Expo 2021 was successfully held from 29th July to 01st August 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Although this event took place when the COVID 19 pandemic was still on, it only attracted about 64% of its total exhibitors from abroad compared to before the pandemic, where this event used to attract 85% of its total exhibitors from abroad.
Designated quarantine hotels such as Dorsett Mongkok and every similar Mongkok hotel are likely to have offered safe and hygienic accommodation facilities to those who took part in this expo. Since Hong Kong was recently declared as a safe destination with low confirmed cases, many exhibitors had taken part in the event without hesitation. Bothe travel trade and corporate visitors had visited this event, and according to the reports, the total amount of visitors had been 2544. The 2022 event will be held in the same venue from 09th to 12th of June 2022.
