A key event in Sri Lanka’s hospitality sector, Hotel Show Colombo was held last month bringing together major names in the industry and a wide range of exhibitors. The event ran from 22nd to 24th July 2022 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka; resorts and hotels including those of brands like Theme Resorts & Spas are providing tourists with a chance to enjoy the best of the country once more while helping to boost the local economy too.
Organised by the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association in partnership with CDC Events & Travels (private) limited, Hotel Show Colombo 2022 also featured several other concurrent events; these included the National Barista Championship as well as the Colombo Food Fest, a popular hawker-style food festival. The National Room Stylist Challenge, the Ceylon Tea Masters Cup and the National Masterclass, a culinary workshop with a celebrity chef, were some of the other highlights.
