Indonesia’s Tourism Market Placed 3rd at US$6 billion

Indonesia is a beautiful country with lovely little islands belonging to the main landmass as well. The extraordinary scenery here has captivated the hearts of many with a passion for travel and exploration, furthermore, the wonders of Indonesia have also tempted the cravings of luxury travellers. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that this destination has been ranked 3rd for the greatest number of tourist activities in Asia.

Terry Santoso, Head of Marketing for Traveloka Xperience mentioned that Indonesia’s tourism market has been recorded at US$6 billion by Goldman Sach’s data. The country that took the first rank for tourism activities was none other than South Korea where tourism has increased by 6 times more than the previous year. Next is Japan where tourism has increased by 4 times and then comes Indonesia where an increase of 3 times has been seen. With Bali luxury villas constantly popping up offering unique amenities and views, Alila Villas Uluwatu, for instance, tourism is bound to rise further. Will Indonesia move up the ranks by the end of this year?
