While COVID-19 remains a reality in most countries in the world, a new era has dawned, to adapt to the ‘new normal’, as citizens of Zambia have resumed their daily activities. While the country remains cautious of the health threats of the disease, vaccination programmes are still in progress for citizens to ensure their protection. Those who arrive in Zambia at a hotel in Livingstone or any other region such as Avani Victoria Falls Resort will be required to present evidence of their full vaccination status or negative PCR test results.
As posted on the Ministry of Health website of Zambia on the 12th of January 2023, Sylvia T Masebo, the Minister of Health requests all countrymen and women to adhere to the continuous measures taken to live in an era of COVID-19 by taking precautions like wearing masks in public places, creating awareness of the threat, consuming clean drinking water, constantly washing hands etc.
