Offering guests a chance to enjoy a traditional art market setting, InterContinental Bali Resort has recently started hosting its very own art market. Held at the premises of this luxury hotel Bali has to offer, this twice-weekly art market gives those interested a chance to see and purchase some of the island’s well known handicrafts and souvenirs. These evening markets will take place every Wednesday and Saturday and will coincide with the special themed dinners and cultural dance performances that can be seen at Taman Gita Terrace. Hosted on the bridges that are built across the lagoon, the art market features local sellers and crafts people while also letting guests practice something that goes hand in hand when visiting such markets; haggling! The Wednesday evening art market can be combined with a package that includes buffet dinner and traditional Kecak dance performances, while the one on Saturday gives you a chance to enjoy Balinese cuisine and observe sacred dance rituals such as ‘Tektekan’ and ‘Okokan’.
