The International Traffic Safety Conference will be held next month for the 8th consecutive time since its inauguration; its vision is woven around a goal to create a safe road transport system, which protects all citizens from being seriously injured on the road. The conference will be hosted at Qatar University which is centrally located within easy reach of properties such as Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli. It will take place from 24th to 25th November, from around 9 am to 6 pm, and those attending and staying at nearby hotels in Doha can easily access the event venue.
The concern for road safety has had a substantial growth in recent years, which specifically led to the development of the National Road Safety Action Plan in 2013. It was the cornerstone of achieving the aspiring vision that was put forward by the Qatar National Traffic Safety Strategy that protects all citizens from serious harm while on the road.
