Considering the fact that Singapore is a global hub for logistics and tourism, the government decided earlier this year, that every company should acquire the SG Clean certification issued by the government. For this, Condé Nast Traveler recognised Singapore as a model for other countries as well when dealing with this pandemic.
From high-end malls to hawker stands and even pre-schools, any place where people are likely to gather will have to obtain this SG Clean seal of approval in order to continue operations as normal. Even 5-star hotels in Orchard Road, Singapore have begun preparations to keep as clean as possible. An example of such hotels is Grand Park Orchard, which obtained its SG Clean certification in March 2020.
