Loy Krathong Festival – Floating Dreams

Held annually on the evening of the 12th lunar month, Loy Krathong is a national and one of the most picturesque festivals in Bangkok. Festival includes many rituals; people gathering around rivers, canals, and lakes to pay respect to the goddess of water, launching of Krathong which is a floating lantern decorated with joss sticks and candles.
