Maldives-based Luxury Airline Beond Launched – Initial Flights to Riyadh, Munich & Zurich
Beond, a premium carrier based in the Maldives was officially launched on 10th October 2023 providing a new transport option for high-end travellers looking to reach this tropical destination in style. The first aircraft in its fleet to be used for initial flights will be an A319 which has been configured to accommodate up to 44 passengers. For those in search of how to go to Maldives, Beond will provide easy access to the Velana International Airport in Male. From there, travellers will be able to reach private island resorts like SAii Lagoon Maldives where more luxurious comforts await.

The first flight of this airline is scheduled for 9th November 2023 connecting Maldives and Riyadh; later that same month, flights linking Munich (15th November) and Zurich (17th November) are slated to launch as well, while plans are underway to add Milan to the network. Interestingly, to offer passengers a chance to disconnect from digital devices, Beond is not offering internet access or seatback screens but will feature on-demand personal iPads. It has also been revealed that within five years, the airline’s fleet is expected to reach 32 aircraft covering 60 destinations providing a wider coverage.
