The Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) proudly announced that the Maldives has been designated as the Official Destination Partner for the leading trade fair in the travel and hospitality industry, ITB China 2024. This prestigious honor highlights the Maldives’ status as a premier travel destination. Due to a positive industry response, the deadline for Maldivian tourism partners to participate in the fair has been extended.
Companies have until 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2024, to submit their applications to participate with Visit Maldives at this trade fair. ITB China is scheduled from May 27 to 29 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and highlighting the Maldives’ distinctive attractions.
China continues to be a vital market for the Maldives tourism industry, especially since it has regained its position as the primary source of arrivals after the borders reopened. The extended deadline allows Maldivian tourism stakeholders to connect with potential partners and decision-makers in the Chinese travel sector. MMPRC urges interested companies to submit their applications before the revised deadline to enhance their presence at ITB China 2024.
