Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, announced the launch of new flights to Bengaluru, India. The service commenced on October 30th, 2023, with the airline operating two weekly flights every Monday and Thursday, utilizing its Airbus A320 aircraft.
The flight from Male to Bengaluru departed from Velana International Airport at 9:35, landing at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 12:15. The return flight from Bengaluru to Male took off from KIA at 13:15 and arrived in Male at 14:50. Passengers could easily connect to other destinations within the Maldives through Maldivian’s domestic network, which included 17 destinations. This makes it much easier for visitors when deciding their accommodation, be it at Maldives 5-star resorts, including properties such as Ozen Reserve Bolifushi, or smaller, budget-friendly places. As part of its ongoing expansion efforts, Maldivian, a full-service carrier, offered 138 economy class seats and 14 premium economy class seats, emphasizing its commitment to serving a diverse range of travel segments.
