According to recent findings by a Chinese International Travel Monitor, an influx of Chinese tourists to Thailand is set to take place during the course of the next three years. As per the report, more than 80% of hoteliers have noticed a rise in Chinese tourists especially those ranging from 18 to 35 years of age. According to Managing Director Asia Pacific for Hotels.com, Abhiram Chowdhry, the most popular destinations in Thailand for tourists from China include the capital Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Samui which is an island in the Gulf of Thailand. Tourists to this island can opt to stay at a Samui beach resort such as Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort & Spa which showcases the best of the region. The growing trend of the increase in Chinese visitors is set to bring more and more visitors to all areas of Thailand.
