Being awarded Michelin stars is an achievement that many restaurants look forward to with all their hard work to maintain standards and come up with tasty dishes. In July it was announced that Michelin will be coming to Vancouver too to create a guide for the region. The company first began its guide in order to encourage car owners to travel more. It was later that they branched out into specifically rating restaurants.
The news that Michelin is coming to Vancouver brought excitement to the restaurants downtown Vancouver. This is sure to put Vancouver on the map for culinary experiences. Anonymous inspectors will be checking out the restaurants and awarding stars according to the quality of food, service, and other factors like sustainability as well. Restaurants by hotels like Pan Pacific Vancouver will also be preparing to achieve a Michelin Star this year.
