Minor Hotels, an international hospitality company, has announced the expansion of its lifestyle brand, Avani Hotels & Resorts, into Europe. Avani, catering to millennial-minded travellers seeking service, style, and value, will add five properties in key European cities, including Spain, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. This move is part of the brand’s strategic expansion into new regions.
This chain will also launch in Central and South America, with a new hotel opening in Mexico and Colombia. The expansion begins with the rebranding of the 101-key Avani Alonso Martínez Madrid Hotel in Spain in June, followed by the rebranding of two hotels in Italy, the Avani Palazzo Moscova Milan Hotel and the Avani Rio Novo Venice Hotel. Avani will also debut in Germany with the Avani Frankfurt City Hotel, and in 2024, it will enter the Netherlands with the Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel.
