Billed as the nation’s flagship ICT conference, the National Information Technology Conference (NITC) is set to take place next month in Sri Lanka’s commercial capital, Colombo. It will take place on the 12th and 13th of October 2022 and be hosted at the Shangri-La hotel. For those planning on attending and heading to Sri Lanka, car rental services, be it for self-drive or chauffeur-driven vehicles, are available from the likes of Malkey Rent A Car which provides convenient transport options. This year marks the event’s 40th anniversary which will be held under the theme, “Digitally Enriching Lives” with more than 30 well-known international and local speakers and over 1,000 ICT professionals expected.

Organised by the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL), NITC 2022 will have three tracks for attendees which will be led by high-profile speakers in the field, while special events have been planned as well. This includes the CSSL Digital Investment Summit which will focus on linking start-ups as well as mature unicorn (those that can reach a valuation of $1 billion) potential ICT companies in Sri Lanka with investors. The CSSL CEO Conclave, CSSL Awards and CSSL Colloquium are among the other expected highlights.
