In recent months, even Hong Kong has been working on relaxing its stringent rules for those entering the country. Groups like those representing airlines are pressuring the government to shorten the quarantine period for travellers to just 3 days and to do away with the compulsory submission of COVID-19 reports before the flights.
The country has now stopped banning flights that bring in COVID-19-positive travellers and those who don’t follow the requirements. Instead, flights will be warned and will have to pay a fine of HK$ 20,000. The airline groups hope to see the restrictions further relaxed. In the future, more cultural attractions in Hong Kong will be open for travellers. Cosmo Hotel Wan Chai Hong Kong guarantees safe stays as well for guests coming into the country.
