In an exciting update, Mozambique has introduced visa exemptions for citizens of nations such as China, Belgium, the UK, the US, Denmark, Indonesia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Finland, France, Germany and many more, for a 30-day stay on official business or holiday.
The exemption allows visitors from the aforementioned countries to travel to Mozambique holding their travel documents and pay a processing fee of MZN 650 upon arrival. This effort could give a significant boost to the country’s tourist sector, with the possibility of Mozambique luxury beach resorts seeing more traffic than ever before, with visitors opting to enjoy their stay at properties such as Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort. The Mozambique government has invested well to improve infrastructure in their immigration system, and the visa exemption is another step in the right direction.
