New World Heritage Sites in the Making in Angkor – A Place Worth Visiting

UNESCO World Heritage Sites are found all over the world, and these hold a significant level of importance as these sites are to be protected at all costs. Currently, there are three World Heritage Sites in Cambodia, with more supposedly in the making. For those looking for a boutique hotel in Siem Reap, the likes of Anantara Angkor Resort will give you convenient access to at least one of the heritage sites.

Angkor Wat, which is known as “City of Temples”, is located in Angkor and was the first World Heritage Site that was declared. The latest site to join the list, in 2017, was the Archaeological Site of Ancient Ishanapura.
