Norse Atlantic Airways has successfully initiated its first-ever non-stop flight connecting Oslo, Norway, and Bangkok, Thailand, marking a significant milestone in travel connectivity between the two nations. The airline, now the exclusive provider of non-stop flights on this route, initiated the service on November 2, 2023. This development aims to offer a budget-friendly and hassle-free travel option for those eager to explore Thailand’s rich heritage, picturesque landscapes, and diverse culture. It also offers the opportunity to enjoy comforting stays at hotels in Koh Samui, Thailand, such as the luxurious Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club, as well as hotels and resorts in other regions of the country.
The Founder and CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways, Bjørn Tore Larsen, stated that he is proud of fostering stronger connections and facilitating cultural exchange between Norway and Thailand. The first flight was graced by the presence of Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Thailand’s Ambassador to Norway, and also by the Deputy Airport Director, Ms. Dorothy-Anne Billett.
Operating up to three times a week, these direct flights are designed to provide passengers with a seamless and comfortable travel experience, reinforcing the growing ties between the two culturally diverse destinations.
