Oman Air Boosts Travel to Salalah: A Vibrant Destination During Khareef Season

Several strategic initiatives have been taken by Oman Air to improve connections to Salalah, particularly during the Khareef season. The measures taken include maximising flight capacity, offering up to 11 flights daily during peak periods, and upgrading many flights to a wide-body aircraft. As a result, nearly 4500 additional seats have been made available during the seasons. In July alone, Oman Air brought in almost 50,000 passengers to the city.

According to Oman Air’s Chief Commercial Office, Salalah becomes one of Oman’s best tourist destinations during the Khareef season and drawing in visitors to the city remains a key priority for the airline.

In addition to the city’s lush green landscapes that come to life during the season in Salalah, tourists can also experience a positive vacation experience at any of the hotels in Oman which are run by several reputed companies like Oman Hotels.
