Oman among Top Ten Travel Destinations for Muslims – Top Spot for Oman

Oman has been ranked 9th amongst the top ten travel destinations for Muslims in the Global Muslim Travel Index. The rating that was conducted by MasterCard and Crescent analysed 130 countries to find out the best destinations in the Muslim Travel Market. Oman which made its way to the top 10 nations for the second consecutive year reported an overall score of 67.9. The annual rating is conducted based on facts such as airport facilities, easy access to prayer spaces, visa, air connectivity, easy communication methods and awareness on Muslim travel needs. With a number of tourists flocking from around the world, especially from Islamic countries, hotels in Salalah the likes of the Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara; and those at other major cities are never at a dearth of patrons. The chart was topped by Malaysia for the third year in a row whilst Colombia ranking the last.
