Oman has taken another step towards sustainable development by bringing key stakeholders, visitors, and exhibitors together in Oman Sustainability Week which was held from 12th to 16th March 2023. The event took place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat and experiences more than 5000 visitors and 300 exhibitors discussing sustainable development goals, leadership, and innovations to bring change. Many industry leaders, experts, and policymakers participated in active discussions on how to give more focus to sustainability on a national scale while aligning with United Nations’ sustainable development goals.

Most of those who attended the event booked a hotel in Sur Oman to visit the event and explore the neighbourhood. Sur Plaza Hotel is one such hotel that likely experienced higher demand during the week.
