One Asia, One Future – Tourism Minister Highlights Future Plans

In a recent interview, an Indonesian official highlighted key initiatives to enhance tourism and investment in the country. At the AVPN Global Conference in Abu Dhabi, discussions centred on promoting Indonesia’s tourism, creative economy, and sustainable development goals. The Indonesia Quality Tourism Fund, directed by President Joko Widodo, supports sustainable tourism development, with a focus on five super-priority destinations to diversify beyond Bali.

Structural reforms and special economic zones are being implemented to attract foreign investments, particularly in tourism. The “Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision” aims to transform Indonesia into a sovereign, advanced, fair, and prosperous nation by its centennial. Bali and its Uluwatu resorts are a prime example of Indonesian hospitality, with brands like Anantara Uluwatu Bali providing unparalleled hospitality and choice for any potential travellers.
