The Opening of the Iconic Five Star Luxury Resort in Oman

Set to launch in July 2016, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort will provide travellers with a truly unique getaway atop Al Jabal Al Akhdar, otherwise known as the “Green Mountain.” One of the latest Oman luxury resorts in the country, this distinctive resort enjoys breathtaking views 2,000 metres above sea level set on the Saiq Plateau; the spot is well known since it was once visited by the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Featuring 82 rooms with canyon views and 33 private pool villas, the resort will offer a range of amenities including the signature Anantara Spa with a hammam, infinity pool, the country’s only restaurant that includes a fort, kids club and venues for meetings and weddings. There will also be resort activities such as quad biking, archery and cooking classes, while excursions to heritage attractions and sites will also be on offer.
