Phuket opens to all vaccinated travellers – No quarantine applicable!

Phuket opened its doors to international travellers some time ago, but there was a condition where travellers had to undergo a mandatory quarantine period of 02 weeks. Now, the government and the tourism ministry have decided to open the country to all vaccinated travellers no matter where they are from, and they do not have to undergo quarantine procedures under this new initiative.

This will indeed be good news to all the Phuket resorts out there the likes of Avani+ Mai Khao Phuket Suites & Villas.  2020 and 2021 were not so great for Phuket’s tourism and hospitality industry due to the COVID 19 outbreak. The experts believe that this measure will also be a success just as the ‘Sandbox’ scheme launched in July 2021.
