In keeping with a pledge to improve beach safety, Phuket is planning to spend 40 million baht at some of the island’s main beaches. This move is seen as something that will boost the confidence of tourists and can even help to encourage purchasing decisions of those in search of Phuket luxury villas for sale. Such moves will no doubt assist to increase tourist arrivals; this, in turn, will benefit the local tourism industry including hotels and resorts as well as those involved in real estate development such as the likes of Infinite Luxury.
As part of the new budget allocation for beach safety, 12 major beaches in Phuket will be focused on. Amongst the measures expected to be implemented is the hiring of lifeguards as well as acquiring special rescue boats that can be used in emergencies. It should also be noted that tour boat safety has also been improved in Phuket which is further hoped to increase tourist confidence.
