Phuket Tourism and Business Leaders Move for ‘Phuket Stepping Forward’ Campaign

Phuket tourism leaders and officials have attended a “Phuket Stepping Forward” campaign to highlight the importance of fully reopening the island. The Vice Governor of Phuket, Pichet Panapong, and the President of the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation, Rewat Areerob, along with a group of leading Phuket tourism and business personnel attended the campaign event, which took place in February. During the event, Mr. Rewat stated that projects were already initiated to support the development of the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) industry on the island, including the tourist attractions in Phuket, for fully reopening the city. These developments can attract more tourists who travel to explore the gorgeous island while staying at a world-class Phuket resort such as the luxury Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas, which offers a host of modern comforts to its visitors.
