In a move which will see widespread growth and development take shape, the Governor of Phuket recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Officer of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission. Therefore Phuket will aim to become the first province in Thailand to be free of all forms of corruption; an evil that has threatened its very existence as a popular tourist hub in the region.
