According to the Kasikorn Research Centre, an estimate of 13 million tourist arrivals to Phuket is expected with a generation of THB279 billion in revenue by year-end. Phuket, Thailand’s largest island is filled with a multitude of attractions and leisure activities that you can explore while staying at a Phuket Beach Resort such as the Anantara Phuket Villas. Situated in the Andaman Sea of southern Thailand, the island is surrounded by beautiful turquoise beaches and has a mountainous region ideal for climbing adventures. The Kasikorn Research Centre says since early September there has been an improvement in bookings. This was expected to continue with the popular Vegetarian Festival as well as the Ghost Festival and the much anticipated Travel Fair which started off on 1st November. The province was also the proud host of the 4th Asian Beach Games this year that saw the participation of over 45 nations.
