In a move that will give global travellers a chance to enjoy even more comfort on their flights, Qatar Airways recently launched Airbus A350 flights to the Maldives. While it replaced the existing A330 service, this new flight also became the first time that an Airbus A350 was being flown to this popular tropical destination. The Maldives continues to attract global travellers who have the option of staying at island resorts the likes of The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort; such new flights will no doubt serve to make travel to the country even more attractive.
Next month Qatar Airways is expected to add another Airbus A350 to its service to the Maldives as well. At present, the airline has the world’s largest Airbus A350 fleet providing services to destinations such as Brussels, Tokyo, Geneva and Singapore.
