Qatar Airways, the national airline of Qatar has been steadily growing throughout the past few years. Given that the Maldives has become a top destination among the people of this region the management has made a much needed and appreciated upgrade to the formerly narrow-bodied Airbus A320. The upgraded version has an additional 128 seats and travels daily from Doha to the capital of the Maldives. This change has been warmly welcomed by holiday makers travelling to the Maldives for the festive season. The change would also directly result in an influx of tourists booking their stay in many luxury hotels in Maldives such as PER AQUUM Niyama. The upgrade took effect on the 24th of October 2015 and has seen many happy travellers getting cosy in the luxuries afforded by the flight.
